Maryam Al Alawi is an artist from Oman. Mainly known for creating minimal portrait artworks, informed by Oman’s landscapes and restrained color palette. These influences guide a body of work grounded in simplicity, scale, and spatial clarity.

Working primarily on large-scale canvases, she uses ink, oil, and acrylic to explore layering, texture, and form. Her work translates the atmosphere of place into refined, abstract portrait compositions.

Maryam started painting and exhibiting her artworks since 2023, she has been a part of several group exhibitions since, both locally and internationally.
